Peter John Linko III

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter J. Linko III, age 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on February 5, 2025 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born August 8, 1941 in Englewood, New Jersey to Ann (née Cholak) and Peter J. Linko II.
Pete attended the Stevens Institute of Technology achieving a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1963 and an MS in Metallurgy in 1966.
He married Nancy Sommer on August 22, 1964 in a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary's Church in Dumont, NJ. The couple moved to Cincinnati, Ohio for Pete to begin a career working for General Electric Aerospace as a metallurgist, retiring in 2001 followed by him working as a part-time consultant for them with total service of 42 years. Pete was highly respected in his field; he holds nine patents for aircraft engine components.
